All of the most common interface connector and mounting bracket assemblies are shown in the photos here. The mechanical mounting of the bracket is the same in all CX and CXD printers, so any CX printer can theoretically use any interface assembly.

Of course, the interface connector must be compatible with the video controller being used. In some cases, such as the HP LaserJet and QMS PS-800 series, there are multiple versions: basic (serial ports only), as well as optional improved ones (with both serial and parallel ports). Diagram 112-0 shows the "internal video" cable assembly that connects an embedded formatter to the DC controller.
